My name is Courtney and I am very excited to say that I will be coaching the U11 Lincoln Storm Boys Team!
During my youth soccer career, I played travel/competitive soccer between the ages of 9-18 years old in the goalkeeper position. I have had the opportunity to play with the Lincon Soccer Club, the St. Catharines Jets, the West Lincoln Soccer Club and the Grimsby Soccer Club. I have played in the Niagara Regional Girls Soccer League division, the Premier division and the Ontario Youth Soccer League division. As well, I have had the opportunity to train with the Brock University Goalkeeper Program and the University of Ottawa Goalkeeper programs. I also refereed soccer for 2 consecutive seasons.
From a coaching aspect, I coached a U15 girls house league team in 2016 and I have assisted with several different soccer development training programs for both outfielders and goalkeepers.
In regards to player development, I am most looking forward to seeing the growth of the boys' playing capabilities and to see them grow as team players as well as leaders to the younger players in the club. As a coach, I am looking for dedicated players and parents that are willing to commit both their time and energy to the team to have an enjoyable and successful season both in training and in game play.
I hope to see a great number of boys at the tryouts and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!
